My main interests lie in understanding Earth's climate and landscape history. My focus is generally on Neogene to Quaternary age sediments, especially loess deposits, but I am also interested in Cenozoic river evolution, sand dunes as climate archives, and past sea-level change. My research also links closely to questions regarding human evolution, migration, and cultural development. This website is a work in progress, with updates regularly!
